Side visit 2: North Zealand

The new North Zealand Hospital will open in 2021. Yet, unlike traditional hospitals, the architecture will be kept on a human scale and adapted to the surrounding landscape. Hear about the vision, innovative project design, and the integration of sustainability in a project on a tight budget. This new acute-care hospital in North Zealand, Denmark, is being designed by the internationally renowned architects Herzog & de Meuron (well-known for designing the Olympic stadium in Beijing and the Tate Modern in London).
