Speaker Dr. Lieke van Kerkhoven, Business Development - FLOOW2 Healthcare

Dr. Kerkhoven studied Medicine and has been working in the healthcare sector for over 10 years. The inspiration for FLOOW2 Healthcare came from managing a clinic in the heart of Amsterdam. Exchanging equipment with another clinic in the neighborhood for specific procedures was a regular occurence, they would also receive an endoscope from a neighboring hospital, allowing them to only replace the optic and avoid buying a brand new one, saving €10,000. They also rented out the OR facilities and consultation rooms when not in use. These events inspired the creation of a digital platform to facilitate this kind of behavior, it was here that Dr. Kerkhoven recognised the huge potential it had to reduce costs in healthcare while also making the sector more sustainable and responsible.
